2. Skin-to-Skin Breastfeeding
Make sure your baby’s skin touches yours. This not only promotes bonding–it actually releases more milk-producing hormones in you, as well as milk ejector hormones. This way, you eventually create an oversupply of milk and the baby eases into sucking milk out of you. Thus, it’s best to breastfeed with your shirt/blouse and bra off. Let your baby feel your skin.
